Good Friday 2016

We were blessed with beautiful weather for this year's Good Friday Celebration in the Town Square.

A Walk of Witness took place at 10:45 am from Welland Park. This was followed by a United Service in the Square at 11:15 am.

A truck was kindly provided by Stephen Sanderson Transport to act as a stage for the musicians, choir, and speakers. Harborough FM provided and set up the audio equipment and speakers, while Tesco donated hot cross buns, which were enjoyed by those in the square. The event was also supported by Harborough District Council.

As in previous years, there were a range of stalls including a children's activity area and a prayer tent. A soup lunch was served at midday.
