Events

A list of forthcoming events organised by or of interest to Churches in Harborough.

Fri 4th - Thu 10th May

24/7 Prayer, starting 12 noon on the Friday and finishing 9 am on the Thursday. During this period the Old Grammar School will be open as a prayer space. The prime reason for this is to glorify God, pray for the edification and witness of our churches and to pray for Jesus Christ to transform our town and communities.

A sign up sheet is available (from 17th April) at St Di's, if anyone in your church family wanted to book a slot, equally you can just turn up. But please be considerate to those who may already be there. Some people have asked what happens if we don't fill every hour throughout the week and our response would be that we live under grace not law and we trust God for His provision. If it's standing room only when you arrive, feel free to pray underneath the school!

In the interest of health & safety we would not encourage people to use the space on their own after dark.

If you've not experienced a 24/7 prayer space before then what you can expect to find is a room with a number of 'zones' created in it that will help you to focus your prayers, including an area for children. Each 'zone' will have an explanation of how you can use it. If you have any questions or concerns please do contact the HCC church office on .
